The place was cosy and had amiable staff with a very able and pleasant manager, really enjoyed the stay.

Hotel is cozy, with incredible breakfast, and location is great near restaurants, a bookstore, coffee shops. Beautiful building, modern and compact rooms.

By and large, it was decent base for sightseeing in Johannesburg, had much fun. The airport was 29 minutes drive away.

We loved our budget rooms, plus the staff was absolutely charming! Decent view of lake. Delightful boxed breakfast - healthy eggs, toast and oatmeal. Phenomenal location to oriental plaza. Pool was incredible and perfect for us.

The hotel was perfectly located, and we liked having a silent room. Very gracious staff accommodated all the needs.

Historic location, I appreciated funny staff and inviting rooms. Neat beds and terrace, air conditioning and flat-screen TV. Food was fresh & the bar was excellent.

It was a superior hotel in Johannesburg. Superior double room had facilities you could need.

The bed was comfortable and the restaurant was excellent and had variety of food. The staff was kind and offered to visit restaurants and bars close to the hotel. I loved having breakfast at the cafe. Excellent service too.

Hotel is petite, I loved wonderful staff and location. Spacious bedroom and huge bathroom. Location right by Melville as well as coffee shops. Thanks for the luxury stay, no complaints.

the bathroom was clean and the staff was professional. had nice dainties at cafe mexicho, located so close to the hotel.
